A 30 page pack of fun Christmas themed activities aimed at 5-7 year olds. There are a mixture of numeracy, literacy, phonics and art activities perfect for the end of term. Examples include counting carol singers, writing acrostic poems and completing sequences among many others. Children can work independently on activities during this busy part of the year or they could be used as part of a whole lesson. A colour and black and white version of the 30 page booklet is included. A great way to keep learning going right up to the end of term. There are three trickier words which have pictures to help children work out what they say. The text is followed by 5 simple questions. The theme in this pack is ‘How to make Christmas food.’ There are four different comprehensions: How to make Christmas puddings How to make trifle How to make mince pies How to decorate a Christmas cake There is also a PowerPoint included in the pack containing a slide for each text so that you can go through the comprehensions before the children complete them.
